Portland to Sunny Valley RV Park and Campground.  Ride was uneventful.  I left Portland on Hwy. 99E which from Portland to Salem is a secondary road.  Small towns, farmland and way too many stop lights.  There is a nice 20 seconds stretch as it leaves Portland where the road is lined on both sides by old oak trees that stretch across the road like a canopy.   At Salem joined I-5.  For a freeway, I-5 in southern Oregon isn't half bad.  Lots of mountain landscape.  Of course, at 70 mph you can't really enjoy the views.

This camp ground is a bit north of Grants Pass in southern Oregon.  I stayed here once before.  For a commercial camp ground it is not too bad.  Sites are a bit close together but in my experience, so far, people are respectful about noise.  Also, there's a shower and a small store nearby where you can pick up stuff like beer that you didn't bring with you.  To get to the store you walk under the I-5.  High up on the concrete supports there are some mud bird nests, swallows I presume.

Ok, I'll take a picture before it gets dark:
